Sooooooo Happy
But I don't even know what to do about it. What do you do when the Red Sox win the pennant?
I was pretty tired when I got home from work last night, since I stayed up late the last three nights to watch the previous games. So I laid down to sleep for a little bit, so I could stay up to watch this one. And then didn't wake up until 10 PM. I went upstairs to turn on the TV, and saw the score was 8 to 1, Red Sox. What? That was literally the last thing I was expecting. I was excited, but confused.
The most familiar feeling I had all night was when Pedro starting pitching in the 7th and immediately gave up five hits (or was it six? I don't even know). Being upset, disappointed, second guessing Terry Francona -- that I can do. But then Timlin came in, and the rest of game passed by quickly. They finished in nine innings, which almost seemed abbreviated after the last few days. And the Red Sox won the pennant.
I was on the phone with Kevin at the time, although Jessica and Kristin called in, and my dad left a message, and I kept on saying "What do I do?". He said "Think about what you would do if this were the Pats, and they won." Oh. I can do that!! I love the Red Sox, and even more when I don't feel like I'm going to throw up while I'm watching them. Who knew?
