Soooo Much Fun
This weekend was awesome. Florida was fun, Stephanie looked amazing, and many good times were had by all. Kristin and Ryan and I spent lots of quality time driving from place to place on the 98. I got to spend time with my brothers too. Yay!!
Although I have to say that there was a moment Thursday night that was one of saddest I've had. I got off of the plane in Panama City, and my cell phone didn't get any reception. At all. And since I'd told everyone there I would call them when I got into town so we could set up places to met up, I was a little sad. I finally solved the phone dilemma by pouring quarters into a pay phone (remember those) on the side of the road, but got the voice mail of three different people. So I got on the road to Destin, knowing that several of my favorite people in the world were within 40 miles of me, and I couldn't get in touch with any of them.
Everything worked out okay -- as I drove away from Panama City I started to get reception, and was able to talk to Stephanie that night and to meet up with Stephen, David and Faith. And I was even more happy about that because of the previous hour.
And now Stephanie's married. The wedding was on the beach, so we had beautiful white sand and green water in the background, just before the sun set. Mark had one of the biggest grins I've ever seen on his face through the whole ceremony.
I didn't so much sleep for most of the weekend, so I'm dragging a little today. But one more night of sleep and laundry after work should get me in good shape for the rest of the week. And this weekend is more fun times at the beach! Hurray!
